ATLANTA, Jan. 30, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) - Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBank Atlanta) announced today that Jon Keagle, the Bank appointed vice president and manager of mortgage financing strategies for the sale, trade, and education, effective January 23, 2012.
As Manager of the Mortgage Funding Strategies, Keagle will identify, develop and support strategies that the mortgage bank financing and investment in the community of products and services leverage.
"The Bank shareholders expressed a need for integrated strategies that mortgage with Home Loan Bank products," said Robert Dozier, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer. "Jon has the experience and breadth of the knowledge we need for our shareholders' mortgage lending targets linked to our products and services."
Prior to joining FHLBank Atlanta, Keagle was the senior account manager for national accounts for Fannie Mae, where he began as an account specialist in 1997. Keagle started his career at NCNB National Bank of South Carolina and later worked in small business consulting.
Keagle earned his Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from Clemson University and a Master of Business Administration specializing in corporate finance and marketing from the University of Georgia.
